Hambrook House is a short walk over the Kingsland Bridge into the historic and vibrant market town of Shrewsbury, which lies within the loop of the river Severn.
This beautiful Victorian boutique bed and breakfast has been carefully refurbished to create nine luxurious en-suite bedrooms together with fine reception rooms. The house has retained many of its original Victorian features and these are complimented by antique furniture and paintings, beautiful fabrics and contemporary artwork.
In 1882 Shrewsbury School relocated from the centre of Shrewsbury (now the library) to Kingsland. Shortly afterwards in 1883 the Kingsland Toll Bridge was completed and Hambrook House was built in 1884 on the Kingsland Estate.
Hambrook House has been awarded 5 stars by Shropshire Tourism, is delighted to have been selected as a Wolsey Lodge and is rated excellent on Trip Advisor.
A warm welcome awaits you at Hambrook House Bed and Breakfast.
